| I was in my news agent today and glanced down; took my brain a while to process what it just saw. Amiga power. What? I glanced to the left of it and did a double-take. Amiga format. WHAT!? Apparently I spoke aloud because the assistant explained that it was a 30th yr anniversary special and this would be the last time I'd see those magazines.
I woke up a few minutes later.
Anyone got any similar stories to tell!? |

| I have Amiga dreams. One repeating theme is that I find a shop that still sells Amiga stuff and I would travel an hour or two across town to go see it. When I would get there, they would only have a limited number of items left because they were slowly getting out of the Amiga business. The dreams are reflections of what happened in real life. I always wake up sad because I remember seeing so many shops with Amiga gear, and magazines in the book stores, and when I finally got an Amiga, all the shops started shutting down.
I rarely have those dreams now that I have Amiga OS4 and was eventually able to let go of all my Amiga 68k gear.

| @logicalheart I can relate. I've had a few amiga dreams over the years but I forget most of them.
I think one of the strangest was when I got an 040 accelerator for my a1200. I remember thinking that it was 'as fast as an a4000 now' and feeling really hype about it, and then I declared that it was actually running too fast. It ended up melting the motherboard but I didn't mind too much. I think I may have had this dream a couple of years after selling my 060-accelerated a1200.
