I asked it a year ago ... but now I really need to buy something.

I want a laserprinter with a built in scanner that supports linux, amiga (classic, morphos,... ) and windows...

The amiga doesn't need to support the scanner, I just need to copy some things from time to time.

I found two printers that would work on windwos and linux but I do not know that much of what Amiga is supporting.

HP MFP M176n

Samsung CLX-3305

printing gurus here that can take a look at it ?

other suggestions are welcome, and it needs to do colorprinting .

@Aminicle

For the Classic Amigas you will need to see Turboprint's supported printers and then get on eBay. This is a good resource for AmigaOS 4.x:

http://amigax1000.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/setup-printing-for-hp-photosmart-c5380.html

I guess MorphOS will be similar although here's a guide to get TurboPrint working on MorphOS:

http://www.webalice.it/fulvio.peruggi/public/Pegasos&MorphOS/Articles/02_TurboPrint7.60/TurboPrint7.60_on_MorphOS_en.html

I hope this helps. I love the HP Deskjet 5550 as it allows my Classic Amiga to use the parallel port and my Mac use the USB port hence I don't need a switcher! It looks pretty cool as well despite being quite old now.

No idea what that means. Good luck getting it working. TurboPrint works great on a Classic Amiga and I personally wouldn't like to try and get it working without it.

Maybe give IrseeSoft an email and see whether they think it will work.

@Aminicle

Your best option is to get a printer that supports Postscript printing. Then you can use the Postscript printer driver on the Amiga side.

I've done this on my A1 in OS4 on a couple Brother printers (they typically have good PS support). However, the driver is kinda limited in what options it can do, like DPI, etc.

Another option which is what I went with: I have a Linux server that the printer is connected to (again, Brother has good Linux support too) and have LPD/LPR connection ability to the printer through that. In this scenario, the server takes the data from the Amiga, then converts it to what the printer can do. So if I dump a PDF file to the server through the LPD port, the server loads that up, generates a bitmap output the Brother printer understands, then prints it. Note that this doesn't have to be a Brother printer, though from what I've seen Brother seems to have the best Linux support of anyone out there, so I typically look for those now instead of any other brand.

Now for more details, I'm using CUPS on the server, which under CentOS 6.7 has a separate package that gives an LPD/LPR option through CUPS. Brother's Linux page has drivers for LPD/LPR or CUPS, though all I had to install was the CUPS one since the CUPS-LPR package takes care of the interface part.

For more info on Brother printers and Linux support, go here.

With this setup, using the lpr.device driver that is on OS4depot/AmiNet, I send a print job from the Postscript driver to the server, which then dumps to the printer in native form. Even though the printer itself has LPD/LPR options and supports printing in PS anyway, I go through the server so I can manage the print jobs across all my computers.

Anyway, just letting you know what is possible, and with my current setup all I have to worry about is "will the printer work in Linux?"

That should work fine on an Amiga, but it depends on your connections.

I have a HP Laserjet Pro 200 Color, printer which I connected to my network, and then use LPR on my A1 to print to it. So I would suggest whatever printer you get, it must have ethernet capability.

I tried to set up USB printing, and didn't succeed, but LPR was fairly straight forward.
