Hello everyone.
I am interested in getting some cards for Aros and Linux.
Could anyone tell me how well the following cards work with Aros?
I am interested GTX 460, GTX 465, GTX 470 and GTX 480.
Nvidia drivers seem to start at the GTX 4XX cards when I want to use Ubuntu 14.04 and Fedora 22.
Thanks.

@Trekiej

I've not used a 4xx card for quite some time, but I did have a 560 gtx in my old i7-870@3.9ghz AROS box, which I replaced with a 570.
Both work nicely, even if neither perform as well as my old 9600gt.
That being said I'm still getting over 200fps in Doom3 and Dark Places @ 1920x1200 (2 of the heavier games).

If running Linux is of interest to you though maybe you could try using AROS hosted. That way you needn't worry about hardware support.
Personally I'm not a fan of Linux let alone hosted OSes, but it is an option.

Oh, and the 5x0 cards are from MSI (560) and Asus (570) by the way.
Probably safer to use cards from bigger vendors to maximize your chances of compatibility.

@fishy_fis

I like the 9800 GTX+, I do not know how compatible it is to Fedora 22.
I will keep GTX 560 and 570 in mind.

GTX 560 seems to be price well.

@Trekiej
Here is a question for an Aros Programmer, what do you think it would take to port just the Blender Game Engine to Aros?
I would have to use Linux,Win,MacOS etc to make a game.

@Trekiej

How can I add 3D Acceleration to Aros Hosted?
