Lately I've started having trouble installing things.

I used to unarchive things, find an "Autoinstall" in the results, click on it, and OK.

Lately clicking on AutoInstall brings up the text of a script. Case in point:

I need Snoopy, so I clicked Autoinstall, got

.BRA {
.KET }

failat 10

if exists envarc:apppaths/snoopy
appdir:CopyStore Snoopy ${apppaths/snoopy}
appdir:CopyStore Snoopy.info ${apppaths/snoopy}
endif

So I tried a different tack:

New Shell process 3
3.DH0:> execute RAM:AutoInstall
appdir:CopyStore: Unknown command
3.DH0:>

I was pretty sure that was doomed to failure, because envarc: shouldn't have a path to an uninstalled program and the "if exists" must fail. But I was really surprised to find that I don't even have an envarc:! I always have had one; what gives? (And even Google doesn't know what CopyStore is.)

Dragging and dropping worked, though, so this question is not urgent this time.

@kilaueabart

As far as I know, (and if I'm wrong then Oh Well!)
CopyStore is part of AmiUpdate, and I think I heard at one time that it really should not be used, except by AmiUpdate..

Or I could be mistaken, in which case please ignore this post. :)

@kilaueabart

I don't think the Autoinstall scripts should be used manually. Should they? If there is no normal install script then I think just copying the drawer should work fine.
