I'm not sure if this topic belongs here in the emulation sub-forum, but here I go.

I recently received a full FPGA Arcade system, with case and Workbench configuration. I am currently using WinUAE to copy files from my laptop to a hdf partition accessible in my FPGA Amiga Workbench, for their use; the physical transfer of files is done using the microSD card and adapter that is supported by the FPGA Arcade.

I'm wondering if it's possible to use my SAM460ex with AmigaOS 4.1 FE to mount the hdf and transfer files natively. If so, how this can be done? What are the steps necessary?

Sure this is possible. Conntect the card reader with SD card to your Sam. Then use diskimage.device or the like to mount the partitions. I think that diskimage or other similar softwares don't support partitioned HDFs yet, so you probably have to use GiggleDisk or the like to create mount lists for the partitions and then use the Mount command to mount them.
