@tlosm

The fact that the original Amiga game is bundled with this remake is already raising awareness of the Amiga especially in the USA where they are all but forgetting that the Amiga ever existed!

Watch the link below from 6:10. Colin Moriarty states that the USA, "... has no Amiga heritage," but would still like to play the original to see what all the fuss was about in Europe! Now if only the original game had been fun to play!

Colin & Greg - PS I Love You: mentions SOTB and the Amiga

@Mr_Capehill

It is not a AAA game it is enjoyable. I miss the music during play though.

Pre-ordered and downloaded. Waiting for me to get some time to play it.

@Mr_Capehill and all

Yes, I have bought the game and played a good part of the first level. I can tell you that the game is definitely worth buying. The music, graphics and game play are all good. While the music isn't as good as the original, it is an "Unlockable" item as you play the game. You build up points towards upgrades and such, kinda like God of War. The game is also much more story driven than the original and easier. You have much better distance attacks than before. The art direction is very much like it was from the original, but slightly distracting because some of it is in a 2.5/3D view at times. You also get the original game and a cool PS4 Theme, which has those giant mechanical beetle creatures animated in the background. Overall, great effort on the team that made it. Here's hoping people choose to make more Amiga classics nowadays.

Ed

@edponpon

I will probably buy it at some point. Too much unplayed games at the moment!

On PS3 it's possible to play Pinball Dreams & Fantasies, Alien Breed(s), Speedball2, Lemmings, Another World, Flashback..

The latest MicroMart magazine has a review of SOTB in the Amiga Mart section. Sven Harvey rocks!
