Hi Admins/Mods/Sitemasters,

I PM'd Tomazkid about this but he must be busy so I thought I would start a quick post. Basically I did a £50 donation to the website but I didn't get my donation show up on the donation page. I did it on my Android Smartphone using Chrome and when it tried to return to Amigaworld, Paypal got stuck in some sort of redirect loop - I assume perhaps the callback URL is wrong or something, or it didn't like my device/browser.

In any case, I want to proudly show I am a supporter so if someone with access to the A-Eon Paypal account can verify my payment and add my donation to the list/my profile, that would be super.

I had the same issues when I donated. The thing is; the donation icon has to be manually assigned by the main Admin on this forum.

I donated before AeonKit took over the show, but I guess today its up to Matthew or Trevor to assign this donation icon.

I would send a private message to Matthew (amigakit) on this and amiga.org to flag his attention to the matter.

Sorry about this, but it seems someone at the top has to fix it. I think half the staff are still on vacation judging by the number of ARs I found the other day.

Still doesn't work right. Just donated £25. Should make me a silver supporter. I guess this maybe a manual purpose for the time being.

This is a manual thing I am afraid, and requires back end access to assign it (not something I can do from the interface available to me).

Your best option is to contact AmigaKit or TrevorD to have the correct donation symbol attached to you.

I am still a bronze supporter. Perhaps A-Eon is such a rich organisation, they don't need the donations. Its not a big deal and I will mention nothing more about it but other community sites are a bit more proactive when it comes to donations. Perhaps I should advertise here instead?

Edit: Actually I should have been a gold supporter when I donated £50 in January - adding another £25 recently has galvanised that position. Another £25 or more would put me in platinum status. Not that it matters - its nice the site is here but it seems a little effort to put the pips on when they see the money.
