there's no right or wrong so just use whichever flavour OS you like and keep the Amiga spirit and have fun;otherwise, like the old saying goes 'opinions are like aholes, everyone has one'

Starting a thread with the words "I don't want to start a flamewar" (or something like that) is always a sure sign that there will be emotional responses that enter the thread. We have some users of each Amiga and Amiga Inspired platform that are easily offended, when ever any criticism of their platform of choice is mentioned, or when others express their preference for a different platform.

I use them all and enjoy them for their strengths, while accepting (for now) their limitations, or short comings. I just hate seeing the posts by the few who feel insecure and have to defend their platform of choice (too often AmigaOS4.x users). Don't be so child like when someone expresses a preference different than your own.

I do run os4.1fe on x1000 and i can say it works better with some usb sticks and does corrupt some other usb sticks. So its a plug and pray :)

MorphOS 3.9 on some machines and never got an issue with usb sticks or other MSDs. They all just work. Firewire is a bit unstable with my iomega hdd...
