@mcbone

I guess you mean the requirement of the 68020 processor - and I agree, it is indeed a very strange requirement for such a game. I was quite baffled when it threw me a yellow warning on the Minimig telling me that it needs a 68020, especially since the 68000 on the minimig runs in circles around the stock A1200 :)

@mcbone

Not A1200 games, as they most often need 020 and AGA, which the Minimig (and I am talking about the rev 1.1 board here) does not have. All OCS/ESC/68000 software I have runs more solid on the Minimig than I ever had them running on my "real" Amiga systems, I suppose due to much less flaky hardware ;)

But anyways, I do find it odd that they target 020+ for a game that works with OCS and 1.5 MB RAM, why not make it a real AGA game instead?

@kolla

There are some 3rd party accelerator cards for A500 and A600 with 020+ CPU. Why require AGA when the game graphics don't demand that much? (from what I know only a 16 colour palette is used).

If you have a fast 68000 there's always an option to run the game from CLI with "a500" argument, but be advised that on a stock 68000 it will run at 50-60% of the nominal speed.
