I think the first and now thanks to SDL2 port will be Doom3 ,
(sdl2+Nova Gles2)
this because is already present a dhrew3 for PPC

Dhewm3 uses SDL 1.2 and ARB assembly shaders, which is not available in OpenGL ES.

That is correct. RBDOOM-3-BFG even offers some OpenGL ES compatibility, but OpenGL ES 3.0 is the minimum requirement. Even the BFG edition depends on some legacy OpenGL functions, which are not available on GLES 2.x. I'm not sure how much of this have been cleaned in the source port.

I found this post from back in 2012. I have no idea how complete is work is, but that's Doom 3 with ES 2.

Sounds like something is screwed up in the RPi2 port, because it shouldn't be that low. Plus, he checked and it was only using 50% CPU, with the CPU idling a fair bit. It shouldn't be doing that.

I can't tell if the Dante port is based on the original Doom 3 code, or Doom3 BFG. IIRC, Doom 3 is single-threaded (or at least the renderer is), so if Dante is based on that then the RPi2 will be running it on a single core.

We should be able to do a lot better than that.
