you need to connect ps-on to gnd from the ATX connector.
You will need a push-close-push-open switch to keep the psu on or off which most modern cases dont have.
If your regarding how to power the motherboard, then you need the small 4pin power connector(GND,5v,12v,GNS) from the PSU (if it has one) and plug it in the floppy power connector on the Amiga Motherboard.
You also need to hack the blue 5+ volt line into the center pin of the Amiga power port, this powers alot of the custom chips eg paula, cia's

Yep, true. It might be possible to replace the switch with a latching switch in the same form factor, or alternatively there are simple latching circuits that can be built with some know-how, or bought from the likes of Ian Stedman.

This is ok, but just be aware that the *middle* two pins are ground, not the outer two.

No no no! +5V does indeed power almost every chip on the board, but that's provided with the connection to the floppy connection you talked about above. You need to connect -12V to the centre pin on the power connector! This is only used for serial and audio, and the computer will otherwise work perfectly if it's not connected. It's also not a good idea to specify colours any more. While the ATX standard may specify the colours for each voltage, many power supplies nowadays are supplied with all black cabling._________________ RobTheNerd.com | InstallerGen | SMBMounter | Atoms-X |

Sorry was a sleepy day at work yesterday :)
True not +5, at least I got the colour right lol. I remember when I forgot to plug it in a few times, and things like audio produced fuzz, and other crashes. Last edited by TheAMIgaOne on 29-Jun-2016 at 10:33 AM.
