Nintendo glory days are over since a long time for me, NES and SNES era. They get lucky with the WII. After the announcement from MS and Sony (Scorpio and NEO) they decided to postponed their MX. Since they don't wanna fight in the most powerful HW war they're doomed.

Maybe if they used PPC chip and got Amiga OS to run on it as a option so its two systems in one it would sell well with all of AMiga and Nintendo back catalog of games. Sorry just work up from dream lol

@g01df1sh Seeing that you are a self proclaimed "goldfish" I shall attempt to remind you: The last time someone tried to commit to a release date for hardware was back in 2009 when A-Eon stated the A1-X1000 would be released for the Amiga 1000 25th anniversary (2010). It was finally released (if you can call it that) at the end of 2011.
None of the companies associated with the Amiga and Amiga-like products are the size of, nor have the maturity of Nintendo. Even if you combined them all into a single entity. So there's no reason to expect any advance announcements of release. They all use the "when it's ready" mantra but not because it's some clever product marketing strategy. It's because there is no end-to-end control; It's subcontractors depending on subcontractors.
At this year's AmiWest (6th-9th October) we may possibly get a glimpse at an inkling of a hint at a date that could somewhat be related to the vicinity of a ball-park release date.

Hi yes agree with Amiga record of release dates is shocking to say the least. I know the companys are not as big as Nintendo or other big Tech companys but they should still be able to give some more info on what is going on with the current projects. At this rate classic FPGA system will start to over take NG system.
