@g01df1sh

Looks like a CPython game.

Not sure which python version it uses but probably will be slow.

Would need to be put into proper C for any speed increase.

@g01df1sh

The first one's webpage says the engine is written from scratch in C++14. That's a few years ahead of the OS 4 compatible versions. The second, when you click on the "Fork Me on GitHub" link indicates it's written in C#. The Mono library hasn't been ported to any Amiga-like OS, ever.

@Samurai_Crow

It is written in C++ (take a look at libopenage folder) and the main game is written in python

@afxgroup

Aga of empires II is my "solitaire", I play it always when I'm bored. :)

Nice game. Playability is good, game time is not too long.

It has some annoying features, like walls / castles doesn't cover units behind of them. You can't but your unith behing any object to protect them in this game.

@g01df1sh

Napalm works with fixed rtg master library. It is way to fast to be a playable. :(

There are plenty of good futuristig RTS games for OS4. Some other 68k rts titles works playable way with OS4.

Earth 2140 is very nice game. Another playable is Exodus last war. It is only 2€ from APC/TCP web shop

@utri007

Thats Great to hear. Just wish I could afford a OS4 machine. Maybe Tabor board will be in the £500 price for complete system but I think I am dreaming.

@g01df1sh

I really liked the first Age Of Empires. It had less of a focus on combat. That was a VERY long time ago.

@g01df1sh

Napalm seems nice and system friendly. Works on os4/mos/amithlon/draco/etc.
If I recall correctly however you need to use one of those paula to rta redirecting programs to get audio on a machine without paula, even when using ahi. Its been a while, so I might be wrong, but that's what my brain is telling me :)

@g01df1sh

I liked the original Age Of Empires better. It was actually sort of sim game. Later versions had more of a focus on combat. I think they would be worthwhile ports because they have a timeless quality. Of course it will never happen.

@tlosm

If AoE II doesn´t need 3D GFX card, it could run under QEMU, not sure if even X5000 is powerful enough for such task.
