I finally found abit of time to work on SketchBlock and made some GUI improvements. The brush and tool selection sections of the GUI now smoothly resize aligning the buttons to fit in the available space. Before they were fixed width grids.

The Screen shots on the page below also show some of the new Tool features....

@broadblues,

My mom was an old school artist that used charcoal, pastels and oil. She would have loved this. Bravo!

@broadblues

I've added a new screenshot to the Sneak Peek page.

It shows the new circle text script plugin I've been working on, along with the new ARexx commands that allow greater control of path objects and their sub polygons/splines.

The extra thing you can't see in a screen shot is that I've now added import and export plugins to allow support for flexible format conversion as well as saving the HDR colour data to non SketchBlock native formats.

export so far supports

ILBM (with optional alpha)
Jpeg2000 (variable quality, optional alpha,8bit 12bit and 16bit per channel )
Jpeg (variable quality)
PNG (with optional alpha)
PPM

import supports

Jpeg2000 (most text files I've tried work, except some weird ones I came across with multiple sized components (ir Red Channel different size to Green channel...ugh!)

all other formats are imported via datatypes as before.

Suggestions for other import export formats welcome.
