As Trevor Dickinson dropped me off at the Wellington Airport yesterday, he confirmed that he is coming to the Adelaide Amiga & Retro-Computing Event on Friday, September 16.

For the SAUG meeting tomorrow, I have some, short .MP4 videos from Trevor Dickinson. He made them especially for the members to see. I hope somebody has a laptop and external speakers in order to run the videos. If you don't have a laptop, I can bring mine.

Ross, Tony, and any other member of SAUG,

I was so happily busy during your meeting that I forgot to give you the bit of California chocolate I was supposed to distribute. If you can give me a mailing address, I can post it off.

@RobertB

Thanks for coming to the meeting, Robert. You certainly made some new friends there.

As for the chocolate, save it for the guys in Adelaide. Don't waste it on the Melbourne crowd ;)

See you in Saccers.

I have now checked into room 4 of the Jasper Motor Inn in Hyde Park, just about 4 km. from the Adelaide Amiga & Retro-Computing Event venue at Eastwood Community Centre.

After much effort (airport express bus to local train to local bus to walking with a big suitcase several streets in the dark while being led by Monash University computer science students Brendan and Alyssa), I finally made it to the Monash Hotel, room 13.

Whew,

Last night I arrived at my hotel. The weather is cool, overcast, and at times rainy. No touring today! ;)

@RobertB

Bon Voyage Robert. I hope you enjoyed your stay and that us Aussie Commodorians were the friendly bunch we are rumoured to be. We certainly enjoyed the company of a like minded Commodorian from far across the seas. Have a good flight back home. And we look forward to meeting you again in future.
