How can I buy an Amiga 1200 on the cheap?

If I bought a refurbished Amiga 1200 from Amigakit, how could I do it on the cheap?

I live in America and it seems that the only monitors are Pal.

I don't want to spend a lot on a monitor.
I want to see options that would make it affordable.

Thank you to everyone that would help me.

@Chuckt

Amigakit has refurbished? The link on that page has never changed, doubt you will see one.

I just bought a 1200 with accelerator and 1080s monitor with extras form a man in Ohio for $350.
Already have a scart to hdmi box for flat screen.

How cheap is cheap? Go emulation if too much. My Amibian rasberry Pi is quite good and works very well.

@Signman

Scart to HDMI may be what I want.

I want the Amiga 1200 because I have a lot of the old 3.5 inch disks and I need something to use them with.

I don't think the Minimig is developed enough because it doesn't have a hard drive so I'm not willing to go with emulation.

@Chuckt

Cheap is:

Finding an A1200 on a garage sale or flee market.

EBay or Dealers are not cheap.

PAL: The A1200 could display PAL and NTSC and most modern TV-Set could do both ... or nothing.

Cheap is relative.

Cheap does not exist (unless someone is being gracious).

There's a way of reading real Amiga floppies on WinUAE with a trick that uses 2 standard PC floppies. I don't know reliable it is but if search Google you should be able to find all the necessary details. This will allow you to archive your old disks in ADF format and also enable you to access your software and files on one of the FPGA solutions.

It's possible to use hardfiles on the Minimig.

The original Minimig boards aren't available but both Turbo Chameleon and Mist are readily available and have 32MB instead of the 2 MB or 4MB offered on the Minimig. They both also have their own cases. Chameleon is smaller and comes in a bright yellow case with blue buttons while the MIST is larger and the case looks more like an industrial appliance.

If you're prepared to wait longer you could consider FPGA Arcade Replay board or the or the standalone FPGA Gunnar and the team are planning to create.
Jim Drew will be the official US retailer for the Replay and you can currently email him to reserve one.

1.
There is (was ?) Catweazel it can read and write 3,5" Amiga floppies and works together with WinUAE.

2.
There is KryoFlux it can read Amiga Floppies and generate an Image from it.

3.
And Jim Drew's SuperCard Pro floppy controller for Amiga Floppies

Minimig (I would prefer AGA Minimig on MiST) can use a hard file on a SDCard, this give you an Amiga compatible harddisk for a fraction of its price.

Update
Added another floppy controller.

I installed Catweasel but couldn't get it to work. My computer doesn't even save its settings for some reason. There is a lack of documentation that came with it.

Mist looks pretty good but I don't know enough about it.

KryoFlux doesn't have a 3.5 inch PC compatible drive available for sale.

I think american LCD TVs should be able to handle PAL. Or else you can try to find an old Dell FP2001 monitor.

This is really no reason, you can get 3.5" PC compatible drives with Shugart-Bus on Amazon.com for less than 15$ (US)

And if your Catweazle still refuses to work, you should ask in a forum for help, the PCI version should work with all actual Windows versions.
