@ribdevil

Then it looks both OS4 and Linux have the sane problem.

Did you try this?

@ribdevil

Linux drivers has nothing to do with sam440 uboot.

If Linux has the same problems as Amiga OS 4 it may be problem with pci to pcie connection.
In that case it will be beyond Acube, and they may be unable to fix this.

Really? I have Radeon 9250 PCI in MicroA1. I don't remember installation details, it was on the last decade.

@Hypex

You would have to check his linux set up to be sure.
Kernel version & the radeon firmware files in /lib/firmware/radeon

@RIBDEVIL Does your 7xxx card show any video signal when starting the machine (ie the u-boot output) and then stop displaying after loading the kickstart files, or there isn't any video signal at all ? If the former, the problem is that you need both the pcigraphic.library kmod and the RadeonHD lite driver from the AmigaOS 4.1 FE Sam460 CD (or the full driver from A-Eon)

I try with the pcigraphics library from Sam460, but not with pcigraphics and RadeonHD drive from Sam460. I test later.

Thanks

At the end, I'll have to do extra hours at work, to buy a X5000. :(

lucky you! or you can wait to see if the new |Tabor (A1222) board is quick enough for you as the price seems great from news at AmiWest.

@Spectre660

Do you also have RadeonHD.card and RadeonHD.chip files in your Kickstart?

@Hypex

I not longer have a working Sam440ep-flex (since 2 years ago) .
But I did have the files in Kickstart when it was working.
Would have been OS 4.1 update 6 versions .
Was using a Radeon HD6670 at the time and that worked ok but not the Radeon Hd7750

@Hypex

Nop. The only .card in kickstart directory is "PCIGraphics.card".
RadeonHD.chip, yes is the directory.

Did you add RadeonHD.chip to the kicklayout? Simply being in the directory isn't enough.

New Uboot

Quote:

mx3 wrote
@all

we just released an official u-boot update (version 1.3.1f) for Sam440ep boards (both mini-itx and flex variants)

ACube web site will be updated shortly, in the meantime, interested flex users may download the new updater from this location:

http://www.soft3dev.net/firmware/Sam440ep-flex_updater_131f.zip

It solves some compatibility issues with some Radeon HD cards (but it's untested with 7xxx
cards)

Please read the instructions carefully !

@Spectre660

At this point I have to ask, is there any solid mpci to pci-e for the ep version? If yes, which one and with which gfx has been tested (by anyone)?

@Spectre660

Seems I have to plug in my Sam440ep-Flex and upgrade.

I have an adapter and a low profile Radeon HD 5450 plus the driver. Currently no low profile 7xxx card.
