Part one of the Friday Amiwest DevCon 2016 has posted. Go to

https://youtu.be/Flfy0nwnK58

Still working on part two. The Thursday DevCon videos need lots of editing work and won't be posted until much later.

@RobertB

Seems really dull. Animated cursors seemed the highlight Did anyone learn anything fun?

I suggest people without a fetish for Shell prompts should just read this for the summary:

Developer Conference Dickinson/Solie summary

@BigD

Well it was for "developers" so what do you expect?

Then again, with CodeBench, no one should need an CLI anymore.

The best news in that summary looks to be Gutenprint.

@Hypex

Under winUAE a shell is mandatory as CodeBench eat all memory.
There's no update since 3 years, any news on that front?

@kamelit0

Maybe one of the smaller ones like tIDE or CompilerGUI would work well.

AFAIK there's no more news on CodeBench. Three years. That is a while!
