What is the exact Dimm type needed for X5000? Is the internal organization (size/number of chips used) critical?

Could the betatesters/developers please list the ones they have found to work, or which has proven to be incompatible? Thank you!

Regards,

Gregor

i have two kits that i use for testing purposes: some nice kingston hyperx DIMMs and some XMX3 DHX DIMMs from corsair. both work a treat.

I decided to get a pair of HyperX Furys, too (but with white cooler). They are 1866Mhz (HX318C10FWK2/8), I suppose it does not harm? They were actually less expensive than the slower 1333/1600MHz versions. Now I would just need a machine in which to use them...

Gregor
