Which Version of UBoot ist installed on the X5000 you are using?

A developer from the MorphOS Team, who are developing an OS that has announced X5000 support for its very next version, and could be due for release any time now, is asking X5000 users about what firmware version is actually used in the wild. Wonder why? A mystery indeed.

IF Geit has an X5000, and I don't know one way or another, he already has access to other MorphOS developers that have that hardware.
My guess would be that he wants to know if the systems currently shipping have updated firmware, but it would be simpler just to contact Aeon and ask if there has been a firmware update.

The X5000 is actually year(s) old. It seems two separate versions (recent(!) versions) was reported in this very thread, and who knows how many other versions was shipped by Varisys before? Hence the question "Which Version of UBoot ist installed on the X5000 you are using?"

OK, I suppose it was really stupid of geit to ask that question here then. Good thing you pointed out how things should have been handled instead!

On the other hand, it's quite a simple thing to simply ask the users what version they are using, especially if you for some reason (like if you are porting an Operating System for it) want to know what versions are actually being used.
