Is it 64bit windows + 64bit winuae ?

Also, how fast odyssey runs ? On peg2 it runs for about 3-4 seconds, how much it take on your winuae (what is one?) config ?:)

Actually it's known and fixed bug in window.class but the released version id one version short of the fix.

I recommend turning JS OFF in Odyssey for speed-up (Odyssey supports different settings for various pages, I have JS turned ON only where really needed).

Odyssey starts in 8s on Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz.

yes, it's windows 8.1 and latest 64bits WinUAE 3.4.0 on a i7-4770k

Odyssey is smooth, maybe 4-5 seconds to load it.

I just hope the update for X5000 isn't too far away as we obviously don't have a full version of update 1. After that they can hopefully concentrate on AmigaOS 4.2 fully.

Unclear what Niolator means when saying that his OS for X5000 "obviously isn't a full version", but at the time, it was said that the X5000 version was a pre-release of OS4.1 Final Edition Update 1, in other words not the final version of the final edition update 1, which this supposedly is. So either their statement was wrong back then, or it's wrong now.

Anyway, reading the release note it looks like this is not a H/W agnostic release at all (which I thought was the point), but still different releases for different H/W? Can you confirm this?

Of course it's not hardware agnostic - OS4 is necessarily different at a low level for different hardware. I don't remember ever seeing anything saying it was supposed to be hardware agnostic... What I do remember reading was that it was supposed to bring all 4.1FE editions up to the same level, since the X5000 had some newer components than the FE release. But I can see why that might be confusing.

It takes about 3-4 seconds here on i7-6700 to load OWB. Surfing is another story. Im right now on amigaworld and its usable speed. Facebook is a killer (deadslow).

I got this output when running smtube. I also updated with latest QT from os4depot.

Was that before or after you installed the update?

The update should have installeed libpng12 and libpng16

libpng.so is link to linpng12.so
libpng16.so is standalone

These links are fixed up as part of the install script.

libpng14 must be a third party build...

I started snoopy to find which libpng.so SmTube tried to load,
but it seem that AmiDock and other programs are constantly opening timer.device,
this doesnt happen before Update 1
