Most of us are familiar with Ben but I suspect that Timothy De Groote is lesser known.

Aside from his LinkedIn profile, can anyone offer much about Tim and where he fits in the evolution of Hyperion?

He's been there since the beginning.

@Hyperionmp

Not to start a flame war or anything, but would not perhaps announcing this change as soon as it happened fall under common sense? Leaving less room for conspiracy and speculation? Maybe you could have spared yourself and others from reading the uneccesry inflammatory comments posted everywhere which are sadly not exactly wishing you all the best, though insinuating a lack of common sense amongst the posters in those forum and thread must be a Trump PR trick?

So let me be the first then. Good luck on your journeys Ben, without you're knowledge and dedication trough the decades Os4 would probably be a pipe dream in an opium hut somewhere.

The only thing I find intriguing is that this thread is here for almost 24 hours now and so far it isn't already 38 pages long and it's fairly polite.

Amazing !

@Simon

We now got things to distract us;

Ram limitations lifted from Emulation of AOS4
Gold 2 Core just released to Vampire
AEON is releasing improvements to their 3d performance

No time to spam forums with idle chatter (this post being a one off in that regard).

@Overflow

People getting distracted in 2017 by actual Amiga things to do instead of throwing mud ... who would have thought

@Hyperionmp

I must say I thought your nick was "Hyperion imp" as if you were an imp that turned up in threads about Hyperion, appearing to set some facts straight, then disappearing again.

But without the "i" you may not be a magical imp at all but manging partner perhaps.
