Yes, someone sold a blizzard060 board for 90 pounds. I have seen RAM cards going for more than that. Someone has a big smile on their face.
Got to be the bargain of the decade.

nah zero effect or negligible because an old school guy like me will buy a Vampire to mess around with BUT will never ever sell original 060 board! same thing goes for cars, there's always newer cars every year but the classics always have a market regardless._________________ ____________________________ c64-2sids, A1000, A1200T-060@50(finally working!),A4000-CSMKIII ! Yes but market changes over times. Even if you wouldn't want to sell your 060 some other person wouldn't buy it if they can get faster Vampire for the same or less money.
Just like old 50s-60s American cars. Some years ago you could find many of them for few thousands in reasonable condition. Now retro is trendy and the most of those cars are already restored for a lot of money and going at the same prices as new cars. But it might change at some point again. Young kids might want 80s cars more than 50s ones. The same for old tape delay devices. Some models have dropped their price while other models have increased their price over the past few years. And so on... Last edited by Tomppeli on 23-Jan-2017 at 03:16 PM.

That card would have sold for 400-500 pounds no problem. There's an LC one on eBay for this sort of money but that's not shifting because it isn't the full 060 but 400-500 for a Blizzard 1260 and I am sure it would sell quick. I am happy with 030 speed/compatibility but would have sold that on auction with a starting price of 0.99p and made a killing. _________________ Amiga A1200, 3.1 ROMs, Blizzard 1230 MKIV 64MB & FPU, 4GB DoM SSD, Workbench 3.1 |

It would have probably been snapped up just as quickly on Amibay for around the prices you suggested. |

You'd really need to know the disposition of the seller to know why it was listed so cheap. There's probably alot more to this story than can be gleaned from a single listing.
My father passed away last month and I'm currently in the process of cleaning out the house and auctioning off some of the vast amount of items he amassed. I'm sure I'm selling it for alot less than it's worth, but right now I need to clear it all out. _________________ --------------- AmigaOne X5000 P5020 2Ghz, OS 4.1 AmigaOne XE G4 800mhz, OS 4.1 A1200T 40Mhz 68040, OS 3.9 |

You should never HAVE sold it _________________ This weeks pet peeve: Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean. |
