I had it repaired by a developer in Alberta. Worked for six months then would not boot. I think it is a loose connection from the travel so I don't want to ship. JP

Sorry for the loss. Here changed the CPU myself ages ago as it had the better fan glued to it. 933Mhz worked ok. After many years it went black. Now "underclocked "again. Gets the reapers because of the crappy net programs thinks. Not very usable.
The Gentleman in our local country had it repaired in a special factory electronics I don't even know but the point is that if there is some specialist-microscope soldering thingie company around could be after offcourse the battery measure with a volt meter to be enough.
My CPU had a fan that was too heavy and when moved the tower it might have some movement?
After earthing Yourself could it help to press the cpu module tighter against the mb and removing the memory, gfx card and all+back to click and connect properly. Next is the psu, said the professional. Dust and connections.
Be very careful.
