@pavlor

Does this mean mass production can start?

@g01df1sh
Not that I've been closely following the Vampire story, but going by a blog post from 3 months ago, it doesn't sound like it?

business. I won't run it, this will remain underground project, one man in the basement doing hand soldering forever. If you could understand the feeling when you create every single card using your hands and bring it to the life. Each one is special, each one is connected to me, no matter where is it now in the world. It is piece of me forever. Each one have it's own story. For each one I burned my finger at different place. I would lost that feeling if I build them any other way. Simply it won't be the same for me.

Or has the situation greatly changed since then?

@ChrisH
I share his thinking : )
CE and WEEE are requiremente that's all.. his time, his energy and his enthusiasm makes it possible.

On the other hand .. WEEE fix payments will need to be covered continually so it may force one to produce more ..

I guess this might have something to do with it. That's quite lot to solder by hand.

@Rose

Don't forget that from those 2318 waiting also includes all the cards made and shipped.
Nevertheless the number of ppl waiting is high... requests just keep poring in every day...

@guibrush

...so it's now China Export?

Just kidding. It's always nice to see other people also get "official approvals", so it's not "Just Jens". And of course the product also looks much nicer than anything Jens has to offer.
