Looking for simple and cheap, I took an old Raspberry Pi and built a "Rune Audio" MP3 player this weekend.
It's supposed to be controlled using any android device on the same local network. That part failed with three different android devices I tried. :(
But I typed "http://runeaudio" into the Odyssey address bar, and it popped right up and works great.
I got the others working by typing the actual IP address, so I did eventually get what I wanted, but the painless option seems to work best on my AmigaOS/Odyssey combo.
Not a huge deal, but a nice touch all the same.
