Hi All,

I have recently powerd up my old Amiga and it's in a bad state...

This was a monster system in it's day, was used for realtime multimedia, video
capture and mixing with anims in real time.

Anyway it is a Ramiga Z7 tower with 5 HDD , (2 IDE and 3 SCSI UW) + 2 SCSI CDrom.
Cyberstorm MK3 060/ 233 PPC 128 Mb ram.
VLab Motion, Toccata, CyberVisionPPC + CyberVision64 + Highway/Norway +other stuff...

On power up; Sys disk not functional, Backup disk and Backup2 disk not fuctional
and Both CDroms not functional..
After a serious amount of f*****g around inside one of my CDrom drives replacing
all the internal rubber grommets and mounts, I managed to instal my copy of OS3.9 .
My floppies of Net Connect and Posiedon have died (errors), so the only way to get data back into my Amiga was via floppy disk.
Most of my application software still survives on a SCSI drive as does my Internet
stuff on another SCSI drive; but I am missing various Libs which where on my SYS
disc.

So I am asking anybody out there in Miggy land if you have a copy of:

Vapour.library and Wb_startup.library,
Both were a part of the Net Connect package (can't find them on Aminet )

Hehe, Just found A Deneb USB card I've never used from new ; plugged it in
and all required software in installed on the card (Posieden and Trident ), thats
so cool, life saver..

Anyway, if anybody can help with the aforementioned Libs ; it would be
gratefully appreciated.

Wol..

@wawa

AMirc requires 3 vapor libraries, so perhaps not useless.

@Wol

If you meant either wbstartup or wbstart.library instead of Wb_startup.library, those are both part of the Toolmanager package, in 2 separate archives on Aminet.

Try here for the Vapor libraries: http://web.archive.org/web/20030811172956/http://vapor.meanmachine.ch/misc/vapor_toolkit_1513.lzx

You may find you need some others too, no guarantee that these links work: http://web.archive.org/web/20040604213350/http://vapor.meanmachine.ch/misc/

The bsdsocket.library is not a disk based library - it is created in memory when an Amiga TCP stack goes online. I'd recommend getting Roadshow as it's the best TCP/IP stack for Amiga.
