RPi3 for Amiga boot capture.

Requirements.

1. USB to Serial cable.
2. RPi.
3. Null Modem cable.

Install the program Minicom on the RPi.
Plug in the USB>Serial cable.
Open a terminal and do minicom -s
The only thing you should have to change is Serial Port Setup.
A= /dev/ttyUSB0
B= /var/lock
C, D blank
E= 115200 8n1
F, G =NO
Press Esc, Select Save setup as dfl, then Exit.
Leave the cable in.

Open the file browser and go to /home/pi/.config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart, (you may have to select Show Hidden in the View menu item).

Add @lxterminal -e minicom to the bottom, do not press Enter, and Save the file.
This will start minicom every time the RPi is booted, but it will quickly fail and shutdown minicom if the serial/USB cable is not plugged in. Reboot. Minicom should be open and waiting for input.

Power up Amiga with null modem serial cable between USB cable and Amiga.

If you have the RPi on a monitor you can see the serial output of amiga. If you are using VNC you will of course have to wait until amiga is up and running.

It might be a good idea to save a copy of the Amiga output on the RPi for future reference.
