@Lazi

Uh-oh. Now you've really done it. Ringhio be mad at you, bro.

Sounds like something's got a buggy notification setup going on that results in writing a 0-length file to ram. Have you installed/changed anything lately?

Is this the old Ringhio from 2009 or the latest Ringhio Notifications from the Enhancer Software?

@amigakit

This is what I'm a afraid was going to happen incompatible version in the OS and the Enhancer software. I like what was done with this but it be better if was port of the OS, not some add-on.

@NutsAboutAmiga

Well if you buy the Enhancer Software, you will support the developers who have put much effort into updating Ringhio and many other applications. When A-EON acquired Ringhio, there was no updates since 2009. There have been well over 20 updates since which of course cost money to do.

We need to pay developers and cannot develop for a loss and then donate it to the OS for nothing. This is one of the former reasons why development had stopped on this platform until recently.

@amigakit

No one ever said it should be done for free...

I (and i'm sure a lot of others) would have gladly paid for OS updates (*if* they'd bring quality and enhancements).

Heck, a pay-per-update system was even announced (albeit not officially).

This (if not brought together again) will only fragment the user base even more.

@amigakit

Well I'm going to do that, but that’s not the point.

As developer myself, I'm interested in writing software that just work, if people have different versions of software installed it make so much harder to support everyone.

@NutsAboutAmiga

Do not worry, I have a plan for this, but it is too soon for announcements.

Thanks for considering to buy the Enhancer Software and supporting the AmigaDeveloper.com Team

Thanks for the link!
The DirMeUp entry was the problem in the Righio settings.
