@OlafS25

Olaf, I'm coming to the realization that I really DO like you guys.
AND that the majority of you DO get it.

So, yes, I understand your irony.

The thing is, I've known change was coming for a long time, and I'm not one to dig my heals in and try to resist it.
Mexicans don't want to be stuck in a dead end economy in a dangerous country and are willing to risk it all for a job and chance for their children to prosper?
Hey, welcome in. After all, the Statue at Ellis Island may be French, the the sentiment stated is true.

And the people in third world countries want a piece of the pie?
Bring it on, because increased productivity will make us ALL better off in the long run.

Better standards of living equate to lower population growth which benefits us all, globally as our world population burgeons.

We COULD just make it into the future, and do so stably, without destroying our species, IF we don't allow unelightened self interests to override our common sense.

BUT...we DO seem to be having a turn to the "dark" side for a moment (or is that just the STUPID side?)

@Spectre660

Good news, lets hope things are resolved.
There are so few sellers in Amiga land, we can't afford to be losing what we have.

Cheers

@iggy

Don't be naive to think a certain political orientation is the solution to everything. Every policy is made for the masses and general government of things, there will always be unfair situations and politicians don't care or don't even know (and don't care to know). I couldn't help be laugh at your AMT quote. Many opponents of it say it targets people in the upper-middle class, not the super-rich. I'm not gonna argue if that's fair or not, I think the poor and middle class should be put first, but what shocks me is that I don't see you guys complaining about Google moving BILLIONS of dollars to bermuda to avoid taxes... More than once actually. These are the same companies (Facebook etc etc) that campaigned for the left, isn't it ironic ? Also the AMT doesn't cater for the complicated schemes big corporations use to avoid taxes anyway..
Why do people voted for a billionaire ? Maybe they noticed the media was too biased about certain scandals ? Maybe many have different values ? Because it's funny we politicians say "we" it's not really we is it ? It a form of tyranny forcing their ideas onto everyone, if you want freedom and liberty why don't you let everyone live according to their beliefs ? It's clear that the south and other regions of the US have different ways of life, and their not just the "rich" as you try to paint it...

Yeah, as expected. But public drama was necessary, of course :)

@iggy,

Fist thing, the Statue of Liberty was made by the French and is not on Ellis Island!
Second, Many of the Mexicans I know came here legally and like the idea of a wall because they don't want to compete with illegals for jobs!
Third, I don't need or want to pay for cradle to grave, womb to the tomb government that takes away my money and freedom.
Big government IS the problem not the solution. Just keep us secure thank you!

Such government has its strong points - eg. free tertiary education. Many US college and university graduates are surprised to learn that "poor" country like mine provides similar level of education like US nearly free of charge. We pay usually only for dormitory space (cca 100-150 USD/month, there may be even stipends lowering this).

@pavlor,

Unfortunately, in the US, quality of education and health care for that matter are inversely proportional to how much the government is involved.

Would be more than Happy to buy a new OS+net+print with the Samsung XPress.

Old thought was if one good laser colour could be supported, with the manufacturer so there would be some sales.

Then the net could it be possible to talk even with Apple professionals/hobbyists, just some ideas.

Can we buy the new IBrowse?

Please?

Something is in the mind there. Wish to support more in the AmigaFuture.

Maybe even update the XE. A long road. has been.

Only Amiga Makes it Possible.

Kind Regards: PR

'only Amiga' but on the other hand perhaps the public outcry 'sped up' the resolution
