Found a work around. I boot first then I turn the Dell Monitor on. This appears to work. I am thinking it is something to do with the impedance of the monitor that keeps the 2000 from booting up. This A2000 has a Denice Chip 8373 then my 500. The 500 had no issue with booting up with the Dell.
Weird... Will be ordering the Indivision ECS Flicker Fixer quickly...

Are you using an RGB to VGA adaptor?
I've never heard of a Denise chip being incompatible with a monitor.
If your monitor can display 15Khz natively it would seem the Indivision would be a waste. Except to get pure digital RGB and HDMI.
The Amiga has a digital out so I would have expected some monitor adaptors would have been made to make use of it. Especially on an ECS machine. After all, why require an internal hack, when the output video port has all the signals needed?

Yes I am using the Amiga RGB to VGA adapter I purchase from AmigaKit. That did not make sense to me neither. The monitor work ok with the Amiga 500.
I found a statement in a YouTube video where someone mentions the Denise Chip 8373 will cause the black screen with no boot up if it does not see the correct impendence on the video output. Looking for that link now...
The Dell U2212HM shows up in a list of monitors that are known to work with the Amiga 500 and Atari. I am not able to interlace mode or other high res, just the low res mode.
Note: I have not confirm this Dell really does 15K, only know it works ok on the 500 which has a different Denise.
The A2000 appears to work fine if I boot with the monitor turn off, then I turn on after booted. Side Note: The video out is very nice on the 2000 compare to the 500.
Debating if adding the Indivision ECS Scandouble will fix the boot issue for good. What do you think?
