What's worse, the remake of one of Commodore's coffin nails or the remake of it for one of the extra rare original keyboard cases?

I remember reading about the mega65 project years ago (here).

Was interesting but mostly in a niche curiosity kind of way.

Looks like a fun project.

What will we do with it? Was any C65 software made? Is it C64 or C128 compatible? (and will it suffer like the 128 did, largely being used to run C64 stuff to the detriment of 128-native stuff?)

Some prototypical software, IIRC.
