Just so you know I haven't abandoned SB Pro, I though I'd post a very quick update.

Yesterday I needed to create a poster with a font that makes particular use of kerning. Unfortunatly my text plugin didn't support kerning at that point.

So a quick bit of research int the freetype API et voila!

Notice the Fe in festival in particular. Strangely the Le in the Le Cheval part isn't kerning but deliberate fudge in the font!

Also I recently extended the tablet support to work at the tablet resolution rather than the screen resolution, which means fine cntrol of lines even when zoomed right out. Previously lines would get 'crinkley' when free hand sketching and zomed out by a factor of 4 or more (25%) now they stay smooth. Larger tablets will gain more from this but the improvement is noticable on my small A6 sized tablet.

PS If you happen to be in Brittany mid July, do come along to the festival

Yes. I guess it's supposed to work as a ligature.

@broadblues

Great!!
Looking forward for an improved version of your very promising software!

Any plan of implementing a direct editing of text within the image without the need of a popup window with the text editor?
That would dramatically improve the overall usability!
