Excellent!

I, for one, welcome our new North American dealer.

@apsturk,

Good news and a nice read. Having a new job will hopefully bring me a new X5000 soon! Your store is important for US customers.

PS: please start a relationship with other vendors as we need classic goodies as well.

Hi Everyone!

This is a great news! I am so glad they solved their differences. It is so nice to have a US dealer again. I really miss Software Hut from back in the day.

Anyways, this fall I will be ordering the X5000 from these guys and looking forward to when the A1222 is available as well :)

@apsturk

Glad to see that Arron and Trevor worked this out.
BTW - I don't see AmigaKit mentioned here.
What's up with that?

@apsturk

Good news! Now if only I can finally sell my Studebaker so I have the funds for an X5000.

Nice car!
I don't suppose you'd trade it for an X5000?

@apsturk

No apologies, or explanations from either side?

Seems very unprofessional to me, but then the decision to announce the stoppage of sales of A-Eon and AmigaKit products, and removal of support for either company, also seemed like a very unprofessional (and premature) reaction, to some unknown action(s) by AmigaKit, or A-Eon.

Glad you worked it out, it is good to have a local North American reseller, but I doubt I will be doing any business with AOTL, as the management/owner(s) don't fit my description of stable and mature. Maybe they will prove me wrong, and their future actions and statements will change my opinion of them.

It should be kept on a professional level rather than that emotive initial statement from AOTL! Why should we know the details of their business disagreements? This should ALL have been kept behind closed doors IMHO!

Didn't think so Paul, but you can't blame me for trying.

Aaron may be a bit passionate about his enterprise, but he has always treated me professionally when I've placed orders with him, and his support is excellent.

Further, I'd rather not have to face the delays and expense of shipments to and from Great Britain, so...

@BoingBear

ya that was a childish thing to do to say the least but hey at least things seem to be ok for now anyhow & I hope they can fulfill the role Software Hut (US)/ Comspec (Canada) had for many of us over the years

@klx300r,

I spent thousands of dollars @ Software Hut and hope to get more at AOTL but they need some classic stuff in the mix.

Agreed.

I suspect that resolving any differences included provisions for protecting confidentiality.
