Edit position within .info file

I was wondering if there was a way to manually edit the position of an icon within the .info file?

I know you can move the icon and then snapshot them, but I wanted to have the position more precisely.

@smartroad

If you have a new enough version of Workbench, which has the ARexx interface (don't remember whether it came in 3.5 or 3.9), you can manipulate icon positions through that.

I have written a couple of ARexx scripts, one for displaying the coordinates of an icon and another for moving it, which I assign to menu items in the Tools menu at startup.

Best regards,

Niels

Not sure where I got a tool called ICONPOS, maybe it was on AOS3.5 or AOS3.9 CDs, try to search for it inside such CDs.
It's a commandline tool there you can get/set some icon values.
