@scuzz

I used to have an Overdrive for my A1200. Dang thing died on me when my father tried to hotswap it.

Think I still have the housing somewhere.

Although PCMCIA was supposed to be designed to hot swap I never felt comfortable doing it. I have an Amitek 4BM RAM card which I still use. The only worry is the fragility of the card as it sticks out the side of the Amiga. I have Squirrels but at least they have feet and the big thick wire. Fortunately haven't lost one yet. I'll keep that in mind.

Did you hack the Atari mouse adapter (I assume that's what it is) into the Sam or did it come like that?

The Sam Coupé.

I have an interface that plugs into the Sam's mouse port and gives you an Atari ST mouse compatible port like this one.

It look like the same interface has been fitted internally to the Sam on your site.

The computer sadly did not some with a power supply and so has never been switched on. I do keep looking though. Not a straight forward power unit if I recall.

The PSU is a bit of an oddity. The TV modulator is built into it although it's better to use the SCART. It's probably worth contacting Colin Piggot since he supplys a lot of Sam Coupé bit and pieces and should be able to give you the specs on the PSU port so you can get it powered up.

It's also worth having a look at the floppy drive since the belt may have decayed by now. Colin also has replacement belts in stock. I got a new belt for mine but I think I may have damaged the heads replacing it because they snapped together and the drive still didn't work, so if you do replace the belt take care when doing so.
