@tlosm

Great work, keep going! :)

To get OS4 going is one thing, another is that there is also MorphOS for x5000, and I for one would find it awesome to have MorphOS available via qemu too!

@kolla

the microsd device is already emulated, i need to understand how to made the vm load the uboot modded for x5000 from the sd because the qemu uboot have really less option available and it made really hard load the amigaboot loader for the kyckstart.
Morphos i think will be loaded like the os4, thru a boot loaderthat will be copied on second parition of the microsd.

I for one find this interesting, and I don't really understand the negative responses you received, some of which were downright rude, especially the first reply ("boring"?).

Glad you're not too bothered by this. Keep up the good work!

@DruggedBunny

Yeah, because you did not follow everything before this.

I think it won't go anywhere anyway (emulation will never go as fast as real thing, AmigaOS 4.1 will never be anything like usable on this).

DruggedBunny : just for fun, try to use AmigaOS 4.1 on WinUAE PPC as you would on a real system. I tried... and it is far from being usable.

But ok, I won't interfer in tgis thread anymore, I'll just watch it in order to confirm what I'm saying from the beginning

I did that as soon as it became available, and although a bit slow, I was surprised at just how well it did work. Last time I tried -- admittedly over 6 months ago -- I seem to recall it had improved greatly, to the point where it would actually be useable.

EDIT: I'm on an AMD FX 6350, BTW, so lower speed and fewer cores than you, so maybe we have different standards!

Probably not comparable to a real PPC machine, but certainly way more affordable! I'd certainly be interested to see how well it could run with many of the non-CPU aspects passing through to the host machine.

In fairness, I don't have any practical use for AOS 4.x these days, but do still take an interest.

@Spectre660

I think it's difficult to understand the meaning of a Macbeth quote. In fact, I did not understand what it meant. IMHO, please, I think you should use simpler words. Thanks in advance.

@Fogg_80

Macbeth has made his decision to kill the King and take the crown as his own. Inspired in part by his own ambition, the decision to murder Duncan is aided by the prophecies of the Witches as well as the insistent urging of his wife. Still, Macbeth is wracked with guilt over what he is about to do, and his mind races with thoughts of such evil action. He begins to hallucinate and sees a bloody dagger in the air, which will be his instrument of murder. He goes on to comment on the wickedness of the world, thoughts which are interrupted by the ringing of the bell, a signal from Lady Macbeth that Duncan's guards are drugged and sleeping. He goes off to complete the dire deed. Shakespeare's Macbeth is notable for hallucinations, terrifying dreams, witches, prophecies and all of the combining forces of nature which lead to chaos and murder in the gloomy countryside of Scotland.

plus: i dont know if i have strange visions or others simply like rubbish that not work like have suppose to do with a prize of modern workstations and are happy to make the great company take from them extra money compared the beta testers prize because probably they need for their vacancy.
I dont know if the no visionary have good job, real life, splendid wife and 2 wonderful child.
i dont know if i have hallucinations or are others that are not able to see the truth.

for sure i know one thing im really happy because this bad experience with aeon and all a-eon related slaves ... it gave me the opportunity to see the true and what kind of people are inside of that cool and happy band.
