Right, as title says I need help.

I'm not sure if I just misunderstand how to set the drive up or if I misunderstand how it works. This is just a normal shenzhen gotek drive as far as I can tell. Same one that is on this site:

https://cortexamigafloppydrive.wordpress.com

Same model, pinout, everything. My goal here is to use it to copy over some floppy disks of data from textcraft to this drive, then email the files off to the previous owner of the machine. Theres a thread about it in Classic Amiga Software. In any case, I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to make it "switch floppy disks". The buttons on the front don't seem to even do anything, the screen just flashes. I have it set as DF1, so it isn't the main drive. Does it need to be the main drive? I understand people just use these for games but seeing as this is what it is I assumed I would be able to use it for other things as well.

Even putting simcity 1 ADF's on the USB I can't seem to select anything. I even made a 001 folder. Not sure what to do.

Looking forward to any advice.

@dommer416

you need a selector.adf to your usb stick. With it you can give numbers for those other adfs.

When it is usb stick, it's number is 000

So first thing to do is boot with selector.adf from slot 000.
