@zipper

Great thanks can now read PC floppy disks. My LS120 says unreadable maybe dead due to age. I also get a df6: icon with random letters and numbers.

I do get the cross dos icon as well which lets me see the contents of the disk. I can hide the df6: icon using a program in prefs called workbench is this ok to do this or is there something wrong?

@g01df1sh

Just tried Zip750 that don't read my Zip disk :( will try USB zip drive I have at work to see if it can read them on a PC?

Cant believe both LS120 and Zip750 disks have become un-readable..

@g01df1sh

If you can see the files with Cross Dos then it formatted for PC. Try Fat 95 when using PC formatted disks since it supports longer file names so you won't end up with truncated 7.1 file names. I think Fat 95 comes with custom mountlists for Zip and LS120 but it's been a long time so I could be wrong.

@g01df1sh

You could try these.

http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/LS_Mount

Also if you don't have important info on the disk you could try formatting whichever icon shows up a disk.
