Hi All

I really want to buy Indivision AGA for my desktop A1200 but am being held back by the potential A1200 Vampire do I wait or buy the Indivision AGA to give me a nicer looking workbench. I know it wont do much to speed up my A1200 but Pal Hires is not a nice screen mode for a workbench.

Option 2

Buy the Indivison and then wait for the Standalone version. This way I can have a nice classic and also have a super fast NG/Classic

OH so many choices now days

@g01df1sh

You're so funny :) . "So many choices now days". Considering everything that's happened and the current situation it's actually amazing that there are options at all :) .

Can't help you with your decissions though but all upgrades sounds like nice upgrades :) .

@g01df1sh

Option 3. Buy LCD-TV and use scart to connect it to Amiga. Most of those does flicker fixer, so you will get flicker free 640 x 512 workbench.

Those old analog LCD-TVs should cost you next to nothing if you can found 4:3 screen.

Got a Very simple solution in the A1200 tower to lcd.

PIV to VGA and RGB to Scart

Only have to choose the display if from different as not automatic. Works and it's white.

Samsung or whatever cover as there reads Amiga Checkmark..

Edit: Still seems to have HDMI,USB and other inputs for more.

The model is LE22C456E2W

White

I am a +1 for RGB to SCART on a modern LCD screen - even hires laced runs flicker free. I had an external Indivision years ago to connect my Amiga to an SVGA monitor. It did the trick but got awful hot.

@g01df1sh

Get the Indi now. The V4 vampire for the 1200 is the last one they say will be released. It could be over a year away. That and if it runs anything like the one I have in my 2000 you will still want a standard 1200 to do things with from time to time.

@Acill,

Waiting for a V4 but will keep my trusty GVP combo & spectrum graphics.

PS: will be in need of that A2000 recap soon.

@g01df1sh

WB is in 800x600 but there are not many Picasso Cards for sale.As it is in an A1200 there is the Zorro II bottleneck. It would earn an A4000 Tower but there are not too much of them for sale too so went to PowerTower.

At least it works with the 060. Those A4000's are way too expensive so thats why changed the A4000 DT (only '030) to an A1200 solution for expansions.

In the future we have lots of lcd's lying around over here if the TV signals go to full HD DVB2 Antenna Ready transmissions. Got four over here not to match.

What do others do then as mostly they have no Amigas. Give them free I guess or thrash them.

Needing more RGB to Scart Cables then.
