Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions on hosting a tcp/ip, telnet available BBS on my Amiga 1200 (Emulated using Amiberry on Raspberry Pi 3)? I'm having problems finding actual software that I can run as a bbs...I keep finding doors, or modules or whatever. I've found some posts online on how to approach this, but many of the sites are outdated.

Thank!

@m0lebrain

Yeah! You can use amiga express (ami/x) for example. System express is another nice one. These are both available on aminet. Setting them up is a bit tough...you'll need to find telnetd.device and use that as your serial device. amiexpress.co.uk has some resources to help sort this out.

AmiExpress is a classic, and DayDream could be one good option too (should be available in Aminet).

But if I'd be going to set up a BBS from scratch, I'd be interested to try FAME (Final Amiga Mailbox Engine) by TRSI, because it was the most recent BBS software developed for Amiga.

You can find the full CD version released as freeware here:
