It is usually used whem program requires excat old version of library. Usually newer libraries works when older is required. But some programs wants specifig version of library. MAKELINK is used to "fool" program to belive that newer library is older library.

Open a Shell window. Shell icon is located in System drawer (of the AmigaOS boot partition).

In the Shell window, type:

cd sobjs

Perhaps we interpret things differently. But a cryptic crashlog with no direct mention of W3D_SI.library is not as obvious to me as an error that pops up saying "Unable to open W3D_SI.library".

We should see the implementation of crashing function (GLimp_init). I suppose this is some variant of Q3 but when I checked MiniGL source codes and Q3 source codes (from 2006), I have reached a conclusion that if MiniGL library cannot be opened, engine should have shutted down with an error message.

But whose responsibility it is to open W3D_SI.library? Is it wrapped somehow into Warp3D.library?

Todo indica que no tienes el Warp3D SI, la versión especial para las tarjetas Radeon 7XXX y RX, supongo que tampoco te funcionan otros programas en 3D, como Quake , etc.

Esta versión es de pago, y no se incluye en el Enhanced de A-EON, se compra en el Amistore o en la nueva versión de ventas de A-EON.

From a glance I would say Warp3D given it is a Warp3D driver library. So if Warp3D failed to open it should come back in MiniGL.

But can Warp3D open without a driver? It should fail some where along the way.

Just because you successfully opened, the library does not mean that you successfully opened the interface.

logic stats that Base is opened first then interface, so base has have succeeded for interface to be successful, so you can check if only the interface was successfully opened.
