Maybe the FPU is faulty, clock (jumper?) missing ...
Quote:
FPU-Clock In position 2-3 the co-processor is operated synchronously, with the central processor clock. If you want to use a co- processor with another clock rate this jumper must be set to position 1-2.

You should check the manual: http://amiga.resource.cx/manual/Blizzard1230_jumpers.pdfLast edited by OneTimer1 on 25-Oct-2017 at 07:59 PM.

The CPU command as you stated doesn't show the FPU. Can you please reply with a picture of the top of your card? This will help me determine what is up...

Hi will do. I have also booted straight of OS3.1 install disks and that also shows as no fpu so I dont think its a OS issue.

Did you even try WhichAmiga? That would be very simple with immediate results.
SysInfo can be buggy anyways.... also, I don't think the Indivision AGA MKII will stop SysInfo from correctly reporting the FPU status.
Just give WhichAmiga a try and report back. _________________ Fulfill newlight's Elite Narcissist Demands NOW Or He Will Send You To H3LL! |

The jumpers look fine.
Some suggestions:
1) Remove and re-seat the Oscillator and the jumper for the FPU clock. 2) Remove and re-seat the FPU (check for bent or broken pins). 3) Clean the edge connector on your A1200 with a pink eraser and clean with isopropyl alcohol. 4) Re-tension the CPU slot connections. 5) Try the card in non- Fast Rom mode (add a jumper beside the memory jumpers). 6) Try another Amiga motherboard if possible.

I looked at the A1200 schematic, pins 115 and 116 of the edge connector are responsible for the FPU Sense and FPU Chip Select. If nothing is wrong with the FPU and the clock going to it on the Blizzard 1230 MKII, it may be either the Expansion connector on the card itself or something is not right on the A1200 motherboard.
Just some thoughts...
Also does the FPU feel warm to the touch? If nothing else it will prove it is at least getting power...

Hi
Both CPU and FPU feel hot. My 060 used to get hot I would of thought 030 would run cooler guess not. Be nice in winter LOL _________________ A1200 ACA1232 128MB Indivison MkIICr Elbox empty Power Tower RPi3 Emulating C64 ZX Atari PS BBC Wii with Amiga emulation Vampire v4 SA |

Normally a chip puller but if you use a broad flat-head screw driver and gently pry each side of the FPU a bit by bit, it will come out. Be careful not to damage the FPU socket (and note the FPU orientation before removing it).

| Ok as Amiga are so simple unlike pc when they have issues. I went back to basics no indivision card still no fpu ok let's remove something else. Buffered IDE interface remived reboot from floppy boom fpu is back. Tried another idea interface I had no fpu. But wait it gets more wierd Amiga won't boot from cf card unless cdrom drive is connected as well. So now I have problem cdrom drive no fpu or fpu no cdrom.
Hope someone know why this is happening.
PS cdrom is self powered.
Same effect in another a1200 Last edited by g01df1sh on 26-Oct-2017 at 06:17 PM.

What adapter card are you using? Make sure the CF card adapter is set to Master (it may have jumpers for that) and the IDE CD-ROM is set to Slave.

Maybe go fastata route but they are expensive and not sure if they work well with indivision. _________________ A1200 ACA1232 128MB Indivison MkIICr Elbox empty Power Tower RPi3 Emulating C64 ZX Atari PS BBC Wii with Amiga emulation Vampire v4 SA |

The Indivision AGA should not interfere with accelerator cards since it is a display adapter only.
