@RobertB

Nice! Would be on my Christmas list if they sort out UK distribution in time!

@SACC-dude

great! I contacted them at http://www.rabbitholecomputing.com/contact, willing to buy one. However, they didn't respond. Was there an official launch of that product?

If so, what a bad PR! I have still no clue where to buy one? At least something on there Hompage like:

Currently we are out of stock/just deliver xy system to the US,... We hope to aquire some dealers for Europe soon,... an online shop will go online by...

Once again, Xmas presents are bought now! So they should have sorted that one out, already!

@Thread

So as a matter of practical experience, how is A.L.I.C.E. different than running AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Classic on FS-UAE or WinUAE on a generic laptop?

@bison

As a matter pf practical... my opinion only

I didn't chance on a laptop that's not compatible (hardware)
I didn't buy any extras

After turning it on, I choose AmigaOS4.1 and it's running... (big grin)

It works! I was using the AmiKIt part of ALICE and wanted to try firefox.
I just selected the icon and used Firefox.

I've only had the thing a few hours. More testing /using to do!!

@SACC-dude

OK, so basically you can run Linux or Windows apps such as Firefox, and they look like they are running under AmigaOS 4.1 -- is this correct?

So my next question is...

Does copy and paste work between Linux/Windows apps and AmigaOS?

I think they tried this at AmiWest during the demonstration and it didn't work. They're likely to be trying to hack it as we speak however
