@ppcamiga1

Any new advancement, improvements, releases in these 20 years?
Any new standard supported and/or streaming support feature that can be build as native into library?

@Raffaele

Any new advancement, improvements, releases in these 20 years?

No, it's dead-end, actually. It is only included in AmigaOS4.1 as legacy fallback.
Picasso96 features are now inside grapahic.library, Picasso96.library now just wrapper for graphic.library. so every time you call Picasso96 function it now ends up Graphic.library.

Any new standard supported and/or streaming support feature that can be build as native into library?

No, Picasso96 only support basic overlay yuv formats, it does do any streaming. all streaming done by avcodec and other codes in video players, it's not part of Picasso96 or Graphic.library.

MorphOS developers choose Cybergraphics instead, so we will not see any development from that team on Picasso96.

Vampire developers choose Picasso96.librarys is a common standard on AmigaOS3.x.

Anyway just because it is no long the future does not make it go away, lots software need Picasso96.library to work.
