I noticed Tower57 is now available on Steem and GOG.
I want to buy it for AROS, but can anyone tell me please how one goes about purchasing it for Amiga-oid systems? Does the archive come with binaries for the different formats? Are the Amiga-oid versions complete?

I backed on Kickstarter so while it was available I hope to get it imediately ;)

AFAIR however the price payd includes all the versions...so dunno if you can already buy it and than get te Amiga version when released...

AFAIK they are still being worked on.

BTW as the GOG page only mentions Windows and Mac platforms I wouldn't count on getting any other versions if ordering from there. I haven't checked Steam as I don't use that.

true but Daniel (aka Daytona) is porting the game for OS4.2 and MorphOS I believe so amigans will have o wait until he’s done (btw,not sure if he’s also doing an Aros port)

I'm playing it with a wireless PS3 pad on the Mac and it rocks! It's great that it's on the AmigaOne machines too. I would like to think its been heavily optimised for the Amiga with no slow down? I get judders once in a while though it's better on the DRM-free GoG version than the Steam version. I fear that the A1222 version might suffer from some speed issues if some of the effects aren't turned down. I know the FPU code is being optimised for the SPE but even so I'm guessing it would take a lot of work to get it as smooth as the Chaos Engine was (Amiga custom chips are still the best for smooth scrolling 2D games)

No slow downs here , i am playing it with Wireless Gamepad like an PS3 Gamepad.
I got this gamepad for 10Euro from AliBaba. The gamepad works very good.

i just played the latest beta on a sam460 ex and it runs al much faster then the one before its very good playable so i dont think its gonna crawl on some systems. only low mem systems but there is daytona still working on , so far so good.

The Amiga versions are purely software rendered. Daniel didn't feel that hardware rendering was needed to get sufficient performance. He made an SPE version for the Tabor which makes the game faster than on the Sam460.
