Like you said earlier...POWER9.

Also the company building A-eons' products will/should be looking for a new ISA for their future.

A look at how Raptor uses the core structure of the POWER9, where different cores are used for communicating with different parts of the system, rather reminds me of using custom chips for special purposes on the classics. Right now 8 core POWER chips are available and 16 core should be out this year. I see no reason to use more than 2 four core chips on a home computer.

So a single threaded OS running on two cores should have no conflicts of hardware as long as the remaining cores are isolated to their own areas of hardware responsibility. Or something like that.

I hope this lawsuit doesn't delay the A1222 release.

POWER9 running an AmigaOS would be quite an ordeal. It would make a good 3D workstation coupled with Blender3D. And MySQL + AOS + POWER9 would be good, too, for data services. I'd settle for a POWER8 AOS version.
