@thomas I am already planning to reinstall everything. Have a finished Winuae file ready to put on the flashdisk. Then I can also put the drivers on from telmex.

Yep, I am reading in amiga some past days and learned a lot, and I created a new nice installed image on winuae with workbench classic 2.8 and all things I wanted in the first place.
I bought this amiga with the viruses pre-installed it seems. I ordered a flashcard reader so I will receive that in 2 days. Then I will format the CF and put the new image on + latest indivision drivers + telmex sofware aboard.

Yep, true. I was more thinking about the update packages being downloaded in larger files for unpacking on the Amiga, but I guess then that any corruption should be caught by the unpacker and the user warned.
