Does the Driver disk and the Enhancer disk do much for AOS4 Classic?

@Trekiej

As far as I know nobody has ever plugged a PCI to PCIe adapter into a Mediator or Prometheus so I have no idea if any RadeonHD cards would work on a Classic let alone the SI cards required for Warp3D Nova, or if they did, whether it be able to provide worthwhile performance.

The version of Enhancer most suited to classic is probably the special edition which comes without RadeonHD driver or the Warp3D Nova API. It's also less than half the price of the other versions too.

If you have money to burn and are willing to be disappointed you can get the standard or plus versions and do some hardware experimenting. If it fails to work/provide adequate performance you can always keep the video card and drivers and get a Tabor when that's released.

@Rob

Thanks, that is what I was concluding.
Hoping that I woud not damage anything. :)

I ordered OS4.1 and look to do some programming, if not at least buy software for it.

It would be great if my built-in HD3000 chipset could be of some use.
