| Does the Amithlon support a Df0: ? I plugged in a USB floppy drive and OS 3.9 recognized it immediately, but I think it's reading it as a USB storage device, not a disk drive. |

What do you expect? PC floppy controllers cannot handle Amiga floppy disks. The best you can get is PC0, i.e. to access PC floppy disks.
You can however format a 720k or 1440k disk with FFS. This won't be am Amiga disk, but at least you can safely store Amiga file attributes.
To read such a disk on a real Amiga you would have to make a mountlist with mfm.device and FastFileSystem.

It does, but it'll need to be plugged into either the onboard floppy connector, or something like a catweasel. Onboard controller though obviously wont read amiga formatted disks, but a Catweasel will give you the full gamut. Last edited by fishy_fis on 18-Feb-2018 at 11:28 AM.

As fishy_fis said, if you have an internal PC floppy drive connected to a motherboards floppy header you can read/write PC formatted disk. With a Catweasel (I have a Catweasel Mk4 PCI in my Amithlon) and the floppy drive connected to it, you can read/write PC formatted disk and Amiga DD/HD formatted disk. It'll require the proper mountlist of course.
